Breakers that keep tripping
Load measured and connections checked to understand why the breaker is doing its job.

Troubleshooting & Repair
The symptom shows us where to begin, careful testing reveals what is wrong, and the repair is done once and done properly.
Describe the problem to us — (000) 000-0000Electrical faults rarely reveal themselves at first glance. A breaker that trips in one bedroom may be caused by a worn connection in another room entirely, an outlet that seems dead may sit downstream of a tripped protective outlet in the garage, and a light that flickers could be a tired bulb, a failing dimmer or a loose neutral that deserves prompt attention.
We work through these problems patiently. We test circuits while they are carrying load, open the boxes most likely to hold the fault and follow the wiring until the cause is clear. Then we explain what we found, tell you what the repair costs, and point out any other spots in the house that show the same warning signs.
If the problem comes and goes, a few notes beforehand make a real difference: when it happens, what was running and whether the weather was wet or cold. Those details often shorten the search considerably.
The most common faults, and how we deal with each.
Load measured and connections checked to understand why the breaker is doing its job.
The circuit followed box by box to the loose connection or tripped protective device.
Loose neutrals, failing dimmers and voltage drop checked from the fixture back to the panel.
Overheating outlets and switches replaced and the connection behind them repaired.
The appliance or wiring fault behind nuisance ground-fault trips isolated and corrected.
Sections of the house without power traced to the panel or service, with the utility involved if needed.
Loose lugs, failing breakers and heat damage found and put right.
A short summary of the fault and the cost of the repair before we carry it out.
When does it happen and what was running? Your answers often point us straight toward the fault.
We test the circuit under load and follow it until we find the cause, which usually takes an hour or two.
Once you approve the price we make the repair and test again under the same conditions that caused the trouble.
We do not swap components hoping the symptom disappears.
You know the cost before any repair begins.
If one failure hints at others, we tell you where to look.
Tell us what happens and when, and we will trace it to the cause and agree the price of the repair before we begin.
